About Me




I am Ashley Brown and I am dedicated to sharing the benefits of moving our bodies through space with creativity, compassion, and curiosity. I have been exploring the extremes and limitations of the body for the past 20 years through my professional dance training, as a professional dancer, and as a yoga practitioner.


Throughout this time I have learned many dance styles and healing modalities including, but not limited to; ballet, modern, improvisation/release, traditional dances from Haiti, Hawaii, West Africa, and Ethiopia, Axis, Gyrotonic/Gyrokenisis, Yoga, and TRE(R). I have found these tools to be useful in my time as a dancer and as a human during life's most challenging moments. 


 I now dedicate my life and work to merging what I have previously experienced as a dancer with the expression of self with the healing movements from mixed dance techniques, traditional yoga practices, and TRE(R). I hold space for those who are still exploring their path towards connection while honoring their bodies wisdom and finding a loving relationship with their bodies.


By using movement the practitioner is able to put emotions into motion. This allows the practitioner to reclaim their life and body in a loving and compassionate way from those who experience or have experienced stressful day to day life, recent injuries, or past trauma. Offering from my own experiences from stress, trauma, and injuries. I teach from a place of experience and a place of constant learning.
